Editing code

Hi folks,

Was wondering what the best setup is to edit the code/test the code? I'm new to Raspberry pi, is there a graphic text editor that can be used on the Pi (with the samplerbox setup)? or is it best to ssh in from another computer? Is the fact that it's mounted read only another obstacle?

Ok after poking around a bit i think ssh from another computer is best so I can have a nice GUI editor.

I will follow the instructions in the docs for ssh access read/write access etc
