I have install the samplerbox manually on a fresh raspbian install, because I couldn't make my sound card work with the automatic install.

The sound works find with my sound card, but I have all this errors when I try to run samplerbox.py :

I can see that everything should work but the sound stutter ...

I found many thread about this error and it often seems to be related with python. But I have no clue what should I do.

Those are the informations about my system :
"Raspbian GNU/Linux 8 (jessie)" kernel 4.1.10-v7+

Ok, forget about all the errors messages, they're not relevant here.

I've swapped with the default sound card and it works with all those messages. So the only real problem is that with my DAC, I've got stuttering and this message appearing again and again :

ALSA lib pcm.c:7843:(snd_pcm_recover) underrun occurred

My DAC is this one :

My dac is this one and it works very well to play sounds (with aplay for example) without any stutering.

So any idea why it does stutter with samplerbox.py ?

I was wandering if the problem was coming from pyaudio with my DAC, but with a simple example, I can play a file from a python script with pyaudio without any problems.

If I reduce the buffer size from 512 to 64 in samplebox.py, I still have the error messages, but not as many, and I don't notice any problem in the audio.

So even if it's probably not a perfect solution, now I can use samplerBox.

Exactly same problems with HIFIBERRY DAC+. Not recommanded.
