Using Sustain pedal for sample triggering

Can I set a midi note to trigger when I press the sustain pedal through the definition.txt. Also since this would mean I wouldn't have a sustain pedal, is there a way to set sustain to be on by default.

My fork ( homspace<dot>nl/samplerbox ) may fulfill your requirements:

• set a midinote to trigger...: via notemapping + cc-mapping
• sustain on by default: via %%mode=once
