The sound quality is very nice.

Not USB, uses 3 GPIO pins + 5v and ground. (GPIO 18 is mandatory, so you'll have to map one of the SamplerBox buttons to another pin, and update the code, see: http://www.samplerbox.org/forum/255)
Has pinout points so you can solder a jack or RCA output very easily. Also has 3,5mm stereo minijack installed.
Is reasonably priced at 10-12£ (UK)
Supports up to 24bit 192kHz
